Friends are made and lost,
But mostly they are forgotten
Until their lost memory resurfaces
Or you see them in photo.
What sadness draws two people apart?
What reason have they
To neglect their bond,
Forget the good times,
Disband like a frightened crowd
Or disown the meals shared
When times were good?
No words flow between them now.
Only pixels lighting
To show each other
How other people care now.
No space for old friends.
